I'm sure that any fiscal conservative can find reason to criticize President Ford. Fiscally he did not do quite well. However I am totally amazed by the hatred shown, not by the Conservatives but the Liberals. Their hatred of all things Republican far exceeds their love of country.
President Ford was a good man. In our society, good men are at a premium. We were quite fortunate to have him there when we need a good man.
I disagree with some aspects of the current administration, yet I refuse to denigrate the President. I respected the office, even when I found the President quite lacking. We as a people have forgotten how to disagree. There are points that carol and I disagree on, however I disagree with some of her ideas, NOT her person.
I humbly suggest that the hatred shown to our country by our fellow countrymen is by far the most dangerous enemy that we face.

Absolutely, Flommy. And let us not forget who took it to such astronomical levels that champagne corks were flying on the day they forced the president of the U.S. to submit to the indignity of being deposed about a blowjob.
