Bad News
Fox News has projected that Ben Cardin has beaten Michael Steele. Of course, only 1% of the precincts are in. That's a real disappointment; Santorum losing is terrible news, but Steele seemed to have a real chance.
In any case, there should be a future for Steele in the Republican Party.
Even if MD has come in for the Dems, they still need 4 more -- it's a hold for the Dems, given that the retiring incumbent, Paul Sarbanes, was a Democrat.
