Thwap!

A three-judge panel of the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals has held that the warrantless wiretapping of suspected Al Qaeda can continue as the government appeals Judge Diggs Taylor's ridiculous opinion that the program is unconstitutional.

In allowing the program to continue as the ruling is appealed, the court noted that the plaintiffs (i.e., those seeking to stop the program) showed little chance of success on the merits of the case.

If I were Judge Diggs Taylor, I wouldn't bet a whole lot of money that my opinion will be upheld.

This is great news. It's good to know that while they're hashing out the details with the spineless left, the Bush admin can continue protecting America.
