The Qana Bombing

The loss of innocent life is always a tragedy. But why the condemnation of Israel -- which hit a city known to be a terrorist stronghold, after beseeching civilians to leave -- for taking human life accidentally, but no stern words for Hezbollah, which kills innocents as a matter of practice?

Indisputable evidence shows that Hezbollah has no regard even for Lebanese civilians, and is, in fact, hiding among them.

What's more, there are discrepancies that may indicate that the explosition in Qana wasn't as a result of Israeli bombing.

Update: This piece offers more insights about why the building in Qana might have collapsed, hours after it was bombed.

Our heroes Hellzblowhard are in trouble then in true Pallywood tradition, motion picture special effects cause an explosion and our heroes are saved. This occurrence is so convenient for Hellzblowhard and to the MSM a very plausible explanation of Israeli brutality.

Hezbollah has never honored a cease fire.

The deaths of these children is a terrible trajedy, but the only reason we have not had similiar Israeli deaths is because Hezbollah's rockets are so inaccurate.

It's worth remembering that Hezbollah is trying to kill Israeli civilians, while the Israelis are trying to destroy Hezbollah's rockets, which are launched from civilian areas.

The terrorists are at fault for this trajedy, not Israel, despite all the bluster from the U.N.

Having said that, I must admit it is heartbreaking.

It is heartbreaking. It's an absolute horror. But while it IS worht remembering, LQ, the UN, and many on the left, are intent on forgetting those blatant truths, and prefer to draw some imaginary moral equivalence regarding the tactics of Israel and the murderers. Should it turn world sentiment against Israel, it is because of these appeasers and their warped moral confusion.

Of course that last was aimed at ditto's comments. And I would ask him, how would he deal with a lunatic attacking him and hiding behind a child? The looney ain't about to be reasoned with, because that has already been tried numerous times, and every time it seems he's been convinced and you turn your back, he begins attacking you again, always using a child for a shield, or at least trying to. This goes on and on, no matter what you offer or agree to do, because the lunatic has only one thing in mind, and that's to kill you. Give it your best shot, dude.

Ditto,

I appreciate your first comment where you blame both sides for acting "insanely". Honestly, I had expected you to condemn only Israel.

I have disagreements with even that surprisingly moderate sentiment. But, out of respect for your concession that Hezbollah carries blame, I will not air them now. I'm sure there will be ample opportunity for that later.

The video footage of the event is horrific. It will turn world sentiment against Israel.

Sadly, it should have turned world opinion against Hezballah who made it happen.

The world also stood by while Hitler was invading Europe. World opinion is hardly a good gauge of what our position should be. We, in my opinion, have a better sense of what's right and good than does world opinion. And the situation is no more complex than I've stated. You have one side that's attacking another and using women and children as shields. Their goal is to eliminate Israel. That's that long and short of it and if people like you insist on making it seem more complex, than you obviously can't see the distinction between good and evil. How sad for you.

Anyone who thinks America's quest to control the Middle East because of it's oil reserves is actually a Holy war is delusional.

Man. That strawman went down hard.
