The Left, frothing at the mouth, attempted their all to block this nomination of a man who was voted 98-0 to be a judge at a level only one below that of the Supreme Court.
The Left may have to start coming out in favor of states' rights now that their forty-year hold on the nation's highest court has been broken.
I really think the contrast between what Republicans didn't do against ACLU general counsel Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a lawyer as left as it's possible to be and be considered worthy of sitting on the Supreme Court, and this honorable Samuel Alito, the most qualified candidate for the Supreme Court in many decades.
