Wonder what Karl, Dick and George think of this: In the wake of their hitting the speaking circuit, support for the President's warrantless wiretapping program has actually dropped among Americans.
Currently, more Americans support appointing a special prosecutor to investigate administration wrong-doing in the domestic spying case (58%) than support Judge Alito for the Supreme Court (54%).
Same polling outfit, same weekend--there must have been a Senate Judiciary Committee special.
So, what exactly are your reasons, Twister, for being in the minority on Judge Alito?
