Now You Tell Us

As this piece points out, "torture" can, in some cases, be effective. That doesn't mean it's necessarily the right course, but it does mean that people like Senator John McCain and his wannabees (including Chuck Hagel and Lindsay Graham) should stop parroting the talking point that "torture never works" -- and certainly, there are instances when it shouldn't be taken off the table.

Whoo-hoo. Now that we know toruture is effective, maybe we can torture those reporters from the NY Times to get them to reveal who their sources were. It would teach them a thing or two about committing treason.

Here here, I 2nd that Mr. Twister...I hear that forcing them to listen to Dr. Dre or Emimem works wonders. Maybe just forcing the NYT journalists to take courses in ethics could be a start.

Kirkill, I think we are both onto something or on something--I'm just not sure which.

Whilst I wore my tie-dye shirt to work today, I swear I only ate broccoli and carrots for lunch. Nope, I was saved from that pit of hopelessness long ago, thank God.

Didn't mean to cast any apersions there, Kirkill. Seeing the combination of "NYT journalists" and "ethics" in the same sentence just kind of made me wonder.
