Well, well. While prominent Democrats including Howard Dean, Dennis Kucinich and Ralph Nader have been trashing Wal-Mart, their aides have actually been shopping there for office and campaign supplies. Read about it here.

Interesting. However, if I'm picking on Howard Dean for having a staffer who shopped at Wal-Mart, how come we can't criticize high ranking officials for what subordinates do? Abu Gharib?
I feel kind of sorry for Carol and other members of the right wing media noise machine.
Tom Delay has been indicted for money laundering.
Bill Frist is under investigation for security fraud.
Rove and Libby are toast.
Dick Cheney is purportedly an official target of a grand jury investigation.
And the rumors are that the orignal source of the Plame leak has been flipped and is dishing dirt on the Big Boss.
On the other hand, we have two private citizens and a mid-level House member whose staff members purchased campaign related items at Wal-Mart.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

I have worked campaigns and sometimes you need office supplies.
And, on the road these days, a lot of mom and pop shops are closed up because Wal-Mart moved in and shut them down.
I'd probably bet that there were no other closeby options.
