As everyone gears up for the debate tonight, here are a couple of articles worth reading.

This one sets a few facts straight about Kerry & Ko.'s continuing lies about the United States bearing "90% of the casualties and 90% of the expense" of Iraq. Once again, we find that Senator Diplomatique has substantially undercounted not only the sacrifice in lives, but the forgiven debts effected through -- hear me now, believe me later -- good diplomacy by the Bush Administration. United States troops count for 48% of the war dead (a great sacrifice, and deeply appreciated by the grateful in this nation); allies have contributed about 40% of the cost-defraying (not counting the contributions of the Iraqi people themselves).

This piece provides a useful summary of the whole oil-for-sanctions-lifting scandal and a quick trip down the lane of sordid memories, brought to us all courtesy of Saddam Hussein.
