White Tie & Ettiquette
This story, about The White House being "atwitter" over the impending state dinner for the Queen, is a bit silly insofar as it tries to portray President Bush as someone who might be at a loss in dealing with the formal protocol that accompanies a royal visit.
Actually, the President and the Queen have met before and apparently got along quite well -- in fact, they are even distantly related. And with all his Texas charm, the President is hardly a boot-stomping, ignorant redneck, despite the aspersions cast on him by the left and the MSM.
Finally, it's worth noting that if the Queen didn't want to deal with this White House, she could have waited two more years to come see the Kentucky Derby. One might note that her last visit was in 1991; interesting that she never saw fit to visit during the Bill and Hillary years.
