Not a Statement, But an Indictment
Today on Hugh Hewitt's radio show, Ed Gillespie noted no less than eighteen untruths about Alito's record being presented by the Democrats -- just in the opening statements.
Apparently, it's the shape of things to come.

Carol, I'm sorry that the a RNC doesn't consider your little blog is as important as Hugh's, Michelle Malkin's, Captain Ed's, or the Red State's. What I cannot figure out is why the Political Teen beat you out.
Oh well, I guess you can get your ScAlito talking points second hand and then pass them on.
Hey, Twister, are you being paid for heckling Carol. Why don't you STFU for a change? You have nothing constructive to say anyway.

Unlike this golden bon mot, I suppose.
Carol, just a quick update on the RNC all star blog-a-thon (or whatever they called it). Judging by this post, everyone seems to have had a good time. Even the Political Teen got the chance to meet with a soon-to-be indicted felon.
Mr. Twister:
Sometimes you can make the most humorous and insightful (although usually wrong-headed) comments. But then, just when I start thinking I can read your comments without puking, you come across with such childish ad hominem attacks.
So sad and so pathetic. If not for the bile you produce, I'd actually feel sorry for you.
Another point: No one is a felon until they have been convicted of commiting a federal crime. I realize you said, "Soon to be indicted...". But even indicted people are not convicted people.
Sad. So sad.
Pet Peeve: I wish, just once, that people would understand the meaning of the phrase ad hominem before they go around using it.
Mea Culpa: Anyway, Greg does have a point. I should have said "Even the Political Teen got the chance to meet with the chief soon-to-be-indicted-on -one-or-more-federal-felonies
political advisor to the President." I feel so much better now that that is cleared up.
Nit-Pick: Since Greg wants to focus on useless details note that his claim that "No one is a felon until they have been convicted of commiting a federal crime" is just ignorant on two fronts: 1) the states also have felony class offenses, and 2) the federal government has misdemeanor class infractions.
