I haven't read the article yet. But I do believe Bush will bounce back. In classic - and frustrating for them - fashion, the Democrats have overplayed their hand with their anti war politics. And sadly, as Power Line commented regarding the McCain ammendment (which I think applies to the Warner ammendment), to the Democrat's cowardice the Republicans have added panic.
Still, the anti-war, anti-Bush, anti-American hand has been over played. The White House will turn this into an embarassment for the Democrats. Soon they will be running for cover from their own words and actions. The American public will rally behind their President. The Republicans in the Senate will be shamed into regaining their courage. And a new Republican hawk will be elected in 2008.

Rather than hope or derision of Democrats 'vision', I'd prefer to know how the president will or could bounce back.
